Angie Clark

Education Advisor

About

Angie Clark is an educator, advocate, and parent with over 20 years of expertise in teaching, academic advising, and student support. With a Master’s of Arts in Education from McGill University, Angie has dedicated her career to promoting student well-being and academic success. She is the creator of the MindPOP (Mindful-Mindset-Plan-Organize-Prioritize) program, which has been helping students at Royal West Academy in Montreal build emotional resilience, executive function, and time management skills since 2013.

Years of working with youth have shaped her commitment to tackling the effects of excessive screen time and age-inappropriate content, particularly in light of their profound impact on learning, mental health, and relationships. As an Education Advisor for RAADD, an ambassador for the Phone-Free Schools Movement, and a champion of the Unplugged Canada movement, Angie advocates for initiatives that empower schools, caregivers, and communities to implement healthier boundaries around technology use. She aims to inspire collective action to create environments where youth can thrive—physically, academically, and socially—without the pressures and disruptions of the online world.
